Last semester I had the chance to stage manage No Fish In The House directed by Trevor Hill. It was such a fun experience and was the perfect segway back into theatre. It had been such a long time since being involved in a production that I never realized just how much I missed theatre and being apart of it. No Fish had a wonderful cast and they were so nice to allow me to take pictures of them getting ready before the show. I miss this cast and the fun times we had together.

Careful, you're getting tears on the fish!

good thing rexburg is so dumpy

Its really nice living in a city that has dumpy alleyways, because its a perfect spot to take pictures! Its even better when you have an awesome roommate who is so willing to pose for the camera.

Rexburg is also extremely beautiful. These pictures were taken just across the street from my apartment. I've watched this women work on her garden everyday, and I admire her for her dedication and the magnificent garden she has grown.

Her garden is constantly changing. Its absolutely beautiful.

family history

My dad has always been involved with family history and has had some incredible experiences while working on it. I had the opportunity to go the family history center and photocopy pages of a family book. My family from my fathers side is from Bickenriede, Germany and many of my family members were in this book.  It was a great weekend because I was able to spend the afternoon with the wonderful missionaries at the family history center, walk around temple grounds, and spend the weekend at my sisters house. For fathers day this year, I took all those photocopied pages and bound them together. In the end it was more a gift for me then for my dad. Wouldn't trade this experience for anything.

risk taking

Starting this blog is a huge leap. I am not someone who takes risks. I try to get out of situations where I am in a vulnerable position. But how can I make any progress in life if I stay in this safety box?

"Change & growth take place
when a person has risked himself
& dares to become involved
with experimenting with his own life"

Taking pictures has been an experiment. A successful one. I've really enjoyed what I've learned in the past six months.  I'm going to take the risk and share my memories with you of the people I love. I can only hope that as you look through these pictures you get a better glimpse of who I am. Enjoy.
